Matt Swaim is the producer of The Son Rise Morning Show on EWTN Radio, and the author of “The Eucharist and the Rosary” and “Prayer in the Digital Age,” which explores the challenges and opportunities of living a Christian life in the 21st century. Matt converted to the Catholic faith during the 2005 Easter Vigil.

Fr. Nick Rice

The Circles And The Center Of Our Lives

Fr. Nick Rice retired last year after 45 years as a pastor of two suburban Louisville parishes. For 35 years he’s produced, funded and presided over “Mass of the Air,” a mass televised on a local ABC affliate.  A past president of three national church organizations, Fr. Rice was raised in Lebanon, Ky., in a family of 12 children.

 

 

Steve Givens

Embraced By God: Facing Tough Times And Leaving A Legacy of Faith

Steve Givens is a widely published writer on Catholic faith and spirituality and a performer in the Christian band Nathanael’s Creed. He’s a regular contributor to the daily Catholic devotional “Living Faith,” and has written five children’s books. His battle against a rare blood disease is the subject of his book “Embraced by God: Facing Chemotherapy with Faith,” and he writes a blog atgivenscreative.com.

Dr. Ray Guarendi is the father of 10, a clinical psychologist, author, public speaker and nationally syndicated radio host. Archived broadcasts of his radio show “The Doctor Is In” can heard on Ave Maria Radio. He has written eight books, the first of which — ”You’re a Better Parent Than You Think” — is in its 28th printing.

Todd Sylvester is a husband, father of 10, a youth minister and Catholic musician. Once an aspiring recording artist, Todd decided being on the road and absent from his family was not the path for him. Todd and his family live in Fairhope, Ala., where he serves at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He founded Fortune for Families, a debt-free living program, with the goal to help others become all that God intended.
